Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360 Reviews: Is It Worth Buying?
The Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360 is one of those appliances you see in a cooking infomercial and can’t help but want to try out. After reading till the end, you can already make the decision about buying or not!
One of its best selling points is versatility as it is an air fryer convection oven combo, guaranteed to save you a lot of bucks as it replaces several kitchen appliances.
Also, the Power Air Fryer Toaster Oven is a space saver because, besides replacing several kitchen appliances, it comes in a manageable size that ensures it will fit most kitchen counters.
The air fryer is one of the many kitchen appliances under the Emeril Lagasse line, including other things like pressure cookers and pasta makers. And like with other appliances that come with a celebrity chef endorsement, the expectation is always very high.
I tested the Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360 by trying out its different cooking functionalities. I will share my actual cooking experiences when using this kitchen appliance, keep reading to find out if it is a good fit for you.
Let’s start by looking at its advantages and the few shortcomings I noticed!
Advantages of the Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360
- 1. Versatility – Although I know the 12 preset cooking functions are not the most you can get on an air fryer convection oven combo, for the price of this one, it is as good as it gets. Moreover, they include all the typical cooking modes most use at home.
- 2. Low Pricing – The price is quite good and hard to beat for an extra-large capacity (920 cubic inches) air fryer. And the deal gets even better when you consider that it is a multifunctional appliance that can replace several other kitchen appliances like the dehydrator, slow cooker, and toaster oven.
- 3. Great Design – The Power Air Fryer 360 looks great and will be a sleek addition to any kitchen countertop. Also, the stainless steel finish seems to work well with most kitchen colors and themes. And besides the pleasant overall appearance, the air fryer also has some nice interior light.
- 4. Easy Setup – Unlike some other air fryers that require you to follow multiple steps to set it up, there is hardly anything to do for this one. All I had to do was place the cooking pan and drip tray and preheat it for 10 minutes as recommended, and it was ready to start cooking.
Disadvantages of the Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360
- 1. Can be quite noisy – Most genuine Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360 reviews by users and experts will agree that this appliance can be quite noisy. I can hear the air fryer running from my living room, which is quite far from the kitchen. But, you get used to the sound as you use it more and will hardly even notice it after a while
- 2. A little hard to store – While the Power Air Fryer 360 will fit perfectly on your kitchen counter and under cabinets, it can be quite hectic to store away after you finish air frying. It is still quite a substantial appliance, especially if you do not have a lot of room in the kitchen. The Power Air Fryer 360 takes up more space than a standard toaster oven.
What You Get in the Box when you buy the Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer
The Emeril Lagasse Power Airfryer 360 comes ready to use straight from the box as the manufacturer includes everything you need to use the appliance. Here is what I found in the box:
- Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360
- Drip tray – Goes at the bottom of the air fryer and catches what drips from the food to prevent a mess for easier cleanup.
- Crisper tray – What you use when air frying. However, the crisper tray is also useful for broiling food.
- Pizza rack – The pizza rack is for making pizza, as the name suggests but can also be handy for grilling, roasting, and toasting.
- Baking pan – The baking pan comes in handy when baking and when you want something you can use when reheating food.
- Rotisserie spit – The included rotisserie spit is the accessory to go for when you want to make rotisserie chicken and other meat cuts.

Key Features of Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360
Before I give you my experience using the Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360, here are the key features that make this a fantastic air fryer oven.
1. 360° All Around Cooking
The 360° Quick Cook Technology is one of the main selling points for this oven air fryer. The technology ensures the food is cooked by superheated air from all directions.
The Power Air Fryer 360 achieves this using 5 powerful heating elements mounted at the top and bottom of the appliance. A powerful fan also helps circulate the hot air to surround what you are cooking from all angles. Many other air fryers only have around 3 heating elements.
With this technology, you can be sure the food will cook faster and more evenly and that you will not need to add a lot of unhealthy fats and grease to air fry food. According to the manufacturer, it can help cut down unhealthy calories by 70% without affecting the food taste or texture.
2. 12 Pre-Set Smart Buttons
The Emeril Lagasse air fryer features 12 pre-set cooking functions. These functions will allow you to automatically set the cooking time and temperature to make cooking easier and more convenient.
You can choose a preset cooking function for air frying, toasting, pizza, bagel, baking, roasting, broiling, rotisserie, dehydrating, slow cooking, reheating, and warming.
Choosing a preset function should also be quick and easy, thanks to the highly versatile LCD control panel.
3. Memory Function
The Power Airfryer 360 has a memory function that allows it to remember your last cooking temperature and time.
From my experience, most air fryer users will use their appliances for cooking the same thing repeatedly.
And therefore, the memory function can be very useful as you do not have to set the temperature and timer again every time to cook the same food.
For example, if you like to air fry french fries, the air fryer will remember the setting from your previous cooking session, provided you have not used it for anything else in between.
4. Custom Toasting Function
With the custom toasting function, this air fryer will replace your toaster oven without losing any of the important functionalities of the latter.
The air fryer will allow you to toast up to 6 slices of bread at a go and control how light or dark you want to toast the bread.
5. Brushed Stainless Steel Finish
The sleek brushed stainless steel finish will make the Emeril Lagasse Power Airfryer 360 stand out on any kitchen counter.
Besides the good looks, the brushed stainless steel finish seems to go well with any kitchen theme, and it is also easy to maintain since it does not stain easily. A quick wipe-down of the surface after use is all it takes to keep the appliance looking pristine.
6. 10-hour Slow Cook
You can use the Emeril Lagasse Power Airfryer 360 to slow cook for up to 10 hours, as it is designed to run for extended periods with no issues.
But, while the machine will give you the right temperature and heat distribution, you still need to know how to slow cook roasts for the best results.
7. Temperature Control and Timer
While you will likely use the 12 cooking functions for most of your cooking, you can still customize the cooking time and temperature.
The temperature control allows you to choose your preferred cooking temperature between 100 and 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, you can easily change the readings from Fahrenheit to Celsius.
You can set the timer to cook for many hours for the slow cooker or adjust the cooking time more precisely to suit any food. For example, when air frying, you can adjust the timer between 1 and 45 minutes.
8. Easy to Clean
Cleaning the Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360 is quick and easy since most accessories are dishwasher-safe.
However, the manufacturer recommends you clean some accessories like the cooking tray and drip tray by hand, which should also not require much effort.
Cleaning the interior walls can be hectic, but you should figure things out as you get used to the air fryer. Also, a good wipe-down is all it takes to keep the exterior finish looking shiny.
The Actual cooking Performance
You have to use the Power AirFryer 360 to get a feel of how good it is. But, before using it, read the user manual to know where everything goes and how to set up the air fryer and make adjustments.
And if you hate reading long, boring manuals like me, there is a one-page Quick Start Guide with some nice color photos. Once I had the manual reading out of the way, I was ready to start cooking. Here are some of my experiences with the different cooking modes.
1. Air Frying
Obviously, I was going to air fry something first before anything else because nowadays, I probably air fry half of everything I eat on my 5-quart basket-style air fryer. My curiosity to see how the Power Air Fryer 360 would perform as an air fryer was hard to overcome.
I decided to keep things simple by crisping a small portion of french fries. The crisper tray is not very deep (just around 1 inch), but it can still hold a large portion as it is about11 inches wide.
After a few minutes of preheating the air fryer, I put my lightly oiled fries in the oven and air-fried them. They were ready in exactly 15 minutes, and one of the first things that caught my eye was their crispiness and nice golden brown color, they turned out quite tasty.
2. Rotisserie
Rotisserie chicken would probably never be on the menu if I was cooking alone because I can’t seem to master things no matter what appliance I use. Luckily, my partner is way more skilled at cooking than me and can rotisserie anything, they also wanted to see what the Power AirFryer 360 can do in the rotisserie sector.
Although she has her favorite rotisserie chicken recipe, we decided to go with what was included in the recipe book. After a trip to the store to get a few spices she did not have, she made a nice rub for the chicken.
A quick caveat is that if you follow the recommended rubbing ingredients portions in the recipe, you will end up with way more rub than you can use.
After giving the chicken a nice rub, we decided to leave it in the fridge for a few hours to marinate so that we would get the best flavor. The next step was trussing the chicken before putting it on the rotisserie spit and popping it into the oven.
Although it took longer than I thought, it was much faster than a convection oven. Also, the results are worth the wait as we ended up with a nice, crispy chicken that was still quite juicy inside.
3. Dehydrating
If I can remember well, I have probably ever dehydrated food twice or thrice in my life. But, I love anything dehydrated, especially fruits like bananas, peaches, and apples. And so, I was happy to try the dehydrating function on the Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360.
Since it was my first time dehydrating food in an air fryer, I decided to keep things as simple as possible to increase the chances of success.
I quickly sliced some peaches and apples into the thinnest slices I could cut, placed them on the crisper tray, and selected the dehydrating preset. Next, I pressed Start and left the air fryer to do its magic.
One thing to note, though, is that the 6-hour preset dehydrating time might not be long enough for some foods, so you might need to adjust the dial and add a few hours. All in all, the appliance did the job, and after a long wait, I had some tasty and crunchy apple crisps.
4. Baking
I have also tried making small sponge cakes on the Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360, and they turned out well. The recipe book includes easy-to-follow baking recipes for cakes and cupcakes, which I found very useful.
The first cake I made did not turn out well, but this was mostly because of user error. First, I did not make the batter dense enough, and secondly, I forgot to turn off the air fry fan when baking.
Once I made the adjustments, my cakes turned out perfectly with a crisp, caramelized top characteristic of air fryer baking.
5. Toasting
I think I now use the Power Air Fryer 360 when toasting bread and bagels more often than I use my toaster oven. I love how easy it is and that it gives me more precise control over the toastiness.
There is a toasting preset, so all you need to do is select it with the dial and choose the toaste level you want. Once this is done, adjust the timer to suit the number of slices you are toasting, and that’s it, making it more convenient than a typical toaster oven.
And you do not have to worry about burning your bread or bagels as the Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360 will figure out the time and temperature precisely depending on your inputs above. I also like that it makes a loud beep once done to ensure you know when the bread is ready.
6. Slow cooking
Slow-cooked roasts have been a part of my family’s winter weekend meal routine for as long as I can remember. We typically use a programmable 6.5-quart Cuisinart slow cooker that does a pretty good job, so the Power AirFryer 360 has a worthy competitor to beat.
Although the air fryer can slow cook for up to 10 hours, I still haven’t had enough time or something to cook for that long to test its limit. However, I have already used it to slow cook 2 pounds of beef roast, which took around 5 hours, and the results were remarkable.
Since there is a preset for slow cooking, you only need to select it with the dial to start cooking. After many hours of waiting, you should have some tasty, juicy, fall-of-the-bone meat. But, remember to keep checking the food as it cooks.
Choose Standard or Extra-Large(XL) Air Fryers
Choosing between a standard and extra-large air fryer largely depends on your preferences and how many people you will be cooking for often, we have a specific guide on how to choose an air fryer according to your family size.
However, you are always better off with an extra-large model like the 930 cubic inches capacity Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360. With a larger air fryer, you can air fry large batches of food when you have guests and still cook small portions for one or two people.
A standard-size air fryer can be restrictive as you cannot cook large portions size. But, if you want to save money and hardly ever need to air fry a lot of food, a standard air fryer can still be a good choice.
Thanks to the manufacturer, we can’t enjoy the delicacy and cooking time without them, I will try more products from them in the future!
